The Irish Buskers<\/span> is a five-person Celtic music band that plays songs that are traditional, non-traditional, and lots in between. In keeping with Celtic music traditions, some of the songs are sweet, melodic, and sad; some are well-known, raucous sing-along songs: and others are delightfully noisy nonsense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Buskers’<\/span> set list includes everything from the traditional instrumentals Planxty Irwin, Fanny Power, and Irish Washerwoman to the well-known ballads Raglan Road and Wild Mountain Thyme. From the raucous What Do You Do With a Drunken Sailor and the Pogues\u2019 The Boys from the County Hell to silly bits like The Unicorn Song and Bog Down in the Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Irish Buskers<\/span> formed in Tampa in 2007, and have performed at dozens of spots around Florida – as well as a few spots in Ireland. The Buskers tend to be busiest in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2010 the Buskers<\/span> recorded a CD of 10 songs, including eight covers and two Busker originals. The album is called (wait for it\u2026.) “The Irish Buskers”<\/span>.  It’s available on iTunes, CD Baby, Spotify, Amazon Music (just ask Alexa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the Buskers returned to the studio, and have begun releasing new songs one at a time, available where ever you stream music, including here<\/a> where you can find all the songs we have put out in the world … so far. Stay tuned for more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
